Flowers Time and Affairy Events at Bridal Soiree Canada 2013

Together with Affairy Events, Flowers Time produced and brought to life a unique event for Torontonians. Although, it was a wedding related event, we saw a lot of married and singles ladies there as well. It was not a regular bridal show with flea-market style booths and a lot of vendors. The idea behind the Bridal Soiree was to create an experience and make the atmosphere relaxing and fun yet educating and useful. For some people, those big trade shows might work, while for most they are very overwhelming and stressful. The period of being engaged and planning a wedding became such a stressful time of our lives, while in reality it is very romantic to be engaged and plan the most important day of your life! At the Bridal Soiree, we wanted to highlight the romantic aspect of being engaged and planning a wedding and this is why the theme of the evening was French Vintage, with corresponding decor, dimmed lights and french style lounge music.

Guests mingled while sipping their wine offered by Rosewood Winery, enjoying high tea and hors d’oeuvres from the Windsor Arms hotel. Ladies were having fun trying on wedding dresses, getting hair and make up make overs and participating in mini photoshoots.

The highlight of the evening was a special appearance of the celebrity wedding decorator and florist from California, Karen Tran. Karen Tran created a special centerpiece reflecting her glamorous and over the top style and made a presentation about the latest trends in the wedding industry and tips on how to make any wedding unique.

During the evening, guests also had a chance to chat with Karen Tran one on one during mini consultations.

Everyone left with smiles on their faces, gift bags from MoPals and gifts from our sponsors that included a copy of the Elegant Wedding magazine, Loosbutton and Revlon.
